Drawing Contest

Alright, it goes as following.

INFORMATION

• NEEDS TO BE APPROPRIATE!
• Like the fashion page, they'll all start out with 10 points, with points added if we like something, subtracted if we don't.
• Bonus points will be awarded.
• Can turn in as many entries as you want.

BONUS POINTS

• Self-Portrait - 10 [Self-portrait must come with picture of self.]
• Nature-Related - 20
• School-Related - 15
• Painted - 15
• Colored Pencil - 10
• Black + White - 2
• People - 3 points per person
• Abstract - 10
• Animals - 3 points per animal
• Scene - 15

Other points will be given, depending on the subject. If you REALLY surprise us with something, you'll most likely get more points.

DEADLINE

April 14th.

Early Bird

• March 10th-16th: 30 bonus points
• March 17th-23rd: 20 bonus points
• March 24th-30th: 10 bonus points
• March 31st-April 6th: 5 bonus points

PRIZES

I'm trying o convince my mom to let me go to the Dollar Store or A.C. Moore for some artsy things as prizes. So far, it's not working. We'll see, though.

IF YOU DON'T GO TO HANES...

If you do it on the computer, then we will probably find some way to send you a certificate or something. You may want to consider just not entering. Sorry!

NOT IN MY GRADE...

Look at the contact details on the first page, under 'Silly'. If you do not know where Mr. C's classroom is, it's the one nearest the art room, in front of the spanish room. I'm usually either there or walking around. If you can't find me then, give your entry to the 6th graders, Susannah or Jessica, and tell them to give it to me. Please put it in a folder or something and have your name, grade, and homeroom. This goes for all entries. 8th graders, hand it to Hannah W., Amanda, or Sharon and say it's for me.
